Harrison School District 2 seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one support to a student with complex medical and developmental needs. You will assist with daily living, medical and educational tasks under licensed professionals and the IEP team in a school setting.

The role requires a Colorado CNA certification, CPR/First Aid, and strong English/Spanish communication. Prior experience with medical complexity or developmental disabilities is preferred; lifting up

Competenze

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state approved CNA program preferred; otherwise certification within 16 weeks of hire.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred due to student language.
• Minimum of two years' relevant experience in educational or medical complexity settings.
• English and Spanish oral/written communication; basic computer skills.

Mansioni

• Supervise seizures per Seizure Action Plan.
• Monitor for visual disturbances and follow safety protocols.
• Assist with positioning, transitions and mobility.
• Track symptoms and report to nursing/education teams.
• Support feeding, hygiene routines, and daily living tasks.
• Reinforce IEP goals with educators and therapists.
• Provide redirection for attention challenges.
• Use simplified directions to aid language comprehension.
• Document interventions and student responses.
