Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) dedicated to supporting students with disabilities in a Jasper County School District setting. You will work closely with teachers, nurses, and staff to provide direct care, assist with activities of daily living, and ensure student safety during classroom and school activities.

Responsibilities include following health plans and IEPs, maintaining confidentiality, and documenting care while promoting independence and dignity for students.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification required.
• Current CNA certification in good standing in SC.
• CPR and First Aid certification required or obtained within district timeframe.
• Experience as CNA or direct personal care preferred.
• Experience in school, pediatric, or special education settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to students with disabilities in the special education classroom and school settings.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care needs.
• Maintain student privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Follow health plans, IEPs, and safety procedures as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe classroom environment and document care as required.
