Job summary

Valley Healthcare System is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support its school-based healthcare program across designated sites in Stewart and Calhoun Counties. The role requires regular travel between sites and collaboration with students, families, and school personnel to deliver high‑quality care.

The CMA will perform clinical duties, support administrative tasks, and help ensure a patient-centered, confidential environment while maintaining flexibility within a multi-site

Qualifications

• Must hold CMA certification (Georgia or national) and be able to travel between Stewart and Calhoun Counties.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, families, and school staff.
• Ability to work across multiple school-based sites and maintain patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support (vital signs, procedures, injections, immunizations) under supervision.
• Assist with administrative tasks and maintain accurate patient records and scheduling.
• Prepare clinical areas, restock rooms, and ensure infection-control practices.
