Job summary

Care Options for Kids is hiring a School-Based CBRS Professional in Caldwell, Idaho. You will deliver individualized CBRS services aligned with student IEPs and behavioral supports, directly working with students to build functional skills in the school environment.

You will help students grow in social interaction, emotional regulation, communication, problem-solving, and independence while collaborating with school psychologists and classroom staff to implement plans and document progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Experience with children and special needs preferred.
• Strong documentation and data-collection skills.
• Ability to collaborate with school and clinical teams.
• Ability to respond to crisis situations per plan.

Responsibilities

You’ll work directly with students to provide individualized CBRS services aligned with their IEPs, service plans, and behavioral supports. In this position, you’ll work directly with students to provide individualized skills-building and rehabilitation services based on identified needs and goals. You’ll support students in developing areas such as social interaction, emotional and behavioral regulation, communication, problem-solving, coping strategies, independence, and other functional skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field
• Experience working with children; experience with special needs preferred
• Experience with behavioral, developmental, or skill-building support preferred
• Strong documentation and data-collection skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with school and clinical teams
• Ability to follow individualized service plans and behavioral supports
• Ability to respond appropriately to crisis situations according to student-specific plans and training
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely manage physical behaviors as needed
