Job summary

Care Options for Kids is seeking a School-Based Intervention Specialist to support students in a Caldwell, ID setting. You will implement individualized behavior plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with teachers and families to ensure consistent strategies.

The role emphasizes data collection, ongoing communication, and working within a structured school environment to promote student growth and success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, preferably with special needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 40 hours of ABA/RBT training completed.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and apply proactive problem-solving strategies.
• Strong documentation and data-collection skills.
• Ability to respond to and manage crisis situations as outlined in IEPs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely manage physical behaviors as needed.
