Job summary

Care Options for Kids is seeking a School-Based CBRS Professional to support students in Caldwell, ID during daytime hours. You will provide individualized rehabilitation services and help students build social and functional skills in a school setting.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and the student’s support team, monitor progress, and document outcomes. A supportive, interdisciplinary environment and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children in behavioral health, developmental, educational, or special education settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication, documentation, and progress-monitoring skills.
• Ability to implement individualized skills-building strategies and support functional goals.
• Ability to respond to crisis situations per safety plans and student support plans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when required.

School-Based Community-Based Rehabilitation Services (CBRS) Professional

Location: Vallivue School District, Caldwell, ID

Schedule: School-Based | Daytime Hours

At Care Options for Kids, our school-based CBRS Professionals play an important role in helping students develop the skills they need to participate successfully in school and everyday life. This role is designed for professionals who are patient, proactive, collaborative, and passionate about helping students build independence, strengthen social and functional skills, and achieve meaningful goals.

In this position, you’ll work directly with students to provide individualized skills-building and rehabilitation services based on identified needs and goals. You’ll support students in developing areas such as social interaction, emotional and behavioral regulation, communication, problem-solving, coping strategies, independence, and other functional skills. You’ll monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and other members of the student’s support team.

Requirements
