Job summary

CT Institute For Communities, Inc. (CIFC Health) seeks a licensed behavioral health clinician (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) to provide school-based therapy to CIFC Health patients.

This is a full-time 44-week position with typical hours 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM; summers are optional for part-time work. The clinician will conduct initial evaluations, individual and group therapy with children in an outpatient clinic within the school, coordinate with school staff, and develop treatment plans in line with state

Qualifications

• Must hold CT LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license issued by DPH.
• Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply.
• Competitive compensation / commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes initial behavioral health evaluations and psychotherapy with children in a school setting.
• Conducts outreach within the school to identify students needing in-school therapy.
• Consults with providers regarding treatment plans and progress.
• Coordinates with psychiatric consultants for diagnostic needs and referrals.
• Maintains required state documentation and CIFC Health records in a timely manner.
• Performs crisis interventions and safety assessments as needed.
