Job summary

Legacy Community Health in Galena Park, TX, seeks a Behavioral Health Therapist for a school-based role at Galena Park Middle School. You will provide high-quality psychotherapy to students and collaborate with teachers and service providers to support comprehensive behavioral health plans.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule in a multidisciplinary team with opportunities for professional growth. A Master’s in Social or Behavioral Sciences and TX licensure (LCSW/LPC/LMFT) are required,

Qualifications

Master's degree in social or behavioral sciences.
Fully TX licensed as LCSW, LPC, and/or LMFT.
Minimum of 2 years of psychotherapy experience.
Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality psychotherapy to students with identified behavioral health needs.
Conduct psychosocial assessments and tailor individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.
Collaborate with non-physician providers to support psychiatric treatment plans.
Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient encounters.
Regularly reassess patients to inform new treatment plans using applicable psychotherapeutic modalities.
