Job summary

Legacy Community Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist for a school-based program at KIPP Northeast in Houston. The role is onsite, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, and focuses on delivering high-quality psychotherapy to diverse student populations within a multidisciplinary team.

You will collaborate with other providers to create integrated treatment plans, document sessions, and monitor progress to support positive student outcomes in the community.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social or behavioral sciences from an accredited institution.
• TX license as LCSW, LPC or LMFT required.
• Minimum of 2 years of psychotherapy experience.
• Bilingual Spanish is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality psychotherapy to clients with behavioral health needs.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and tailor individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with non-physician providers to plan comprehensive psychiatric treatment.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess patients to inform new treatment plans, including childhood disorders.
