Legacy Community Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist for a school-based role at Galena Park Middle School in Galena Park, TX. You will provide psychotherapy to students within a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with non-physician providers on treatment plans.

This position involves school-aligned hours, opportunities for growth, and the chance to positively affect families and the community we serve.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social or Behavioral Sciences from an accredited institution.
• Fully TX licensed as LCSW, LPC, and/or LMFT.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in psychotherapy.
• Proficiency in multiple languages is an asset, with bilingual Spanish being preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality psychotherapy to patients with identified behavioral health needs, ensuring exceptional care and attention.
• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and tailor individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to meet diverse patient needs.
• Collaborate proactively with non-physician providers to orchestrate comprehensive psychiatric treatment plans.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient encounters, ensuring all interactions and efforts are promptly recorded.
• Regularly reassess patients to inform the development of new treatment plans, applying well-practiced psychotherapeutic modalities, particularly for childhood disorders.
