Job summary

Legacy Community Health in Houston is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist to provide high-quality psychotherapy to diverse patient populations. You will join a multidisciplinary team onsite at KIPP Northeast, with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 8a–5p, focused on improving patient well-being.

You will assess, plan, and deliver individual, family, and couple therapies, coordinating with other providers and ensuring thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social or behavioral sciences.
• Licensed in Texas as LCSW, LPC or LMFT.
• Minimum of 2 years of psychotherapy experience.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality psychotherapy to patients with identified behavioral health needs.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and tailor individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with non-physician providers to plan comprehensive psychiatric treatment.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient encounters.
• Regularly reassess patients to inform new treatment plans, including childhood disorders.
