Job summary

Delta-T Group seeks Behavioral Support Specialists to assist students with challenging behaviors across Aubrey, TX and nearby campuses for the 2026-2027 school year.

You will collaborate with administrators, teachers, and families to design and implement research-based behavioral plans (BIP), conduct FBAs, monitor progress, and support IEP goals, including crisis intervention when needed. Independent contract opportunities with weekly compensation available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required special education endorsements.
• Certification as a school counselor or LPC in Texas; related degree preferred.
• Three years of experience in special education or related field.
• Experience implementing behavior management strategies with students.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with admins and teachers to design and implement BIPs.
• Monitor effectiveness of behavior plans and adjust as needed.
• Conduct FBA based on observations in school, home, and community.
• Participate in ARD meetings and support IEP goals.
• Manage student behavior and intervening in crises per IEP.
• Assist teachers with lesson planning, management, and behavior strategies.
• Develop and maintain effective behavioral management techniques for individuals or groups.
• Provide activities to improve social skills for students in AEP.
