Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking Behavioral Support Specialists to work with students in the Aubrey, TX area for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves designing and implementing behavior interventions, supporting teachers, parents, and staff, and participating in ARD meetings to ensure IEP goals are met.

Responsibilities include conducting FBAs, crisis intervention as needed, and developing individual and group strategies to improve behavior and social skills within various school settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required special education endorsements for assignments.
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or licensed social worker/psychology degree (preferred).
• Three (3) years of experience as a special education teacher, in related social work, or related field.
• Experience implementing behavior management strategies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with admins and teachers to design and develop BIPs and classroom management strategies.
• Monitor effectiveness of behavior intervention plans and suggest changes.
• Conduct FBA based on observations in school, home, and community.
• Participate in ARD meetings and coordinate with parents and staff to meet IEP goals.
• Manage student behavior and intervene in crises in line with IEPs.
• Assist teachers with lesson planning, modeling, and behavior management.
• Develop and apply behavioral management techniques for individuals or groups.
• Provide activities to enhance social skills for students in Alternative Education Programs.
• Participate in RtI and EIT meetings to address academic and behavioral concerns.
