Job summary

Voices for Voices seeks Behavioral Support Specialists to work in Aubrey, TX area and neighboring campuses for the 2026-2027 school year. The role focuses on supporting teachers, staff, and parents to address challenging behaviors and optimize student outcomes.

You will collaborate with administrators and teachers to implement research-based BIPs, monitor progress, and participate in ARD meetings to ensure IEP goals are met. The position may involve home visits and crisis intervention as needed.

Qualifications

• Provide support and training for teachers, staff, and parents to address and manage students with challenging behaviors.
• Collaborate with administrators and teachers to design and develop research based behavioral intervention plans (BIP) and classroom management strategies.
• Monitor the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans and recommend changes as needed.
• Conduct functional behavioral assessment (FBA) based on observation of students.
• Participate in ARD meetings and collaborate with parents and staff to meet IEP goals.
• Assist teachers with lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management.
• Develop behavioral management techniques for individuals or groups of students.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school staff to design BIPs and implement classroom strategies.
• Monitor and adjust BIPs based on student progress.
• Conduct FBAs using observations across school and home environments.
• Participate in ARD meetings with parents and educators.
• Support teachers in lesson planning and behavior management.
• Provide individual and group activities to improve social skills.
• Assist in RtI and EIT processes for identified students.
• Conduct home visits as needed.
