Job summary

Fulton County Schools is seeking a Behavioral Program Interventionist to work within the Behavioral Support Program at the K-5 level. The role applies behavioral techniques, aligns with GPS curricula, and delivers counseling to students to improve organizational, social, and behavioral skills within the school environment.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree is required for eligibility.
  • GA/SPED certification or BCBA certification must be held or be eligible for.
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching or related experience with students with disabilities or behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Supports staff in organizing and implementing GPS-aligned curriculum with behavioral interventions.
  • Meets with students, teachers, parents, and other providers to assess needs and improve social/behavioral skills.
  • Delivers professional learning to staff, parents, and others to improve behavior outcomes for students with disabilities.
  • Provides direct individual/group/family behavioral support to students and parents/guardians.
  • Develops Behavioral Intervention Plans and monitors progress using data.
