Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field; eligible for mental health licensure.
• Associate-level mental health license (LCSW, LMHC-A, LMFT-A) by time of hire or RI DOH eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a resource to school sites with mental health consultation, referral, and care coordination.
• Meets with local school representatives to understand needs and identify ways to support behavioral health in the school community.
• Provides information, referrals, and linkages to social services and mental health agencies to address student and family needs.
• Provides support for student threat/risk assessments, including suicide risk assessments and safety planning.
• Maintains documentation and participates in MTSS referral processes as needed.
