Job summary

Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers is seeking compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians to support children and adolescents in a school-based IBHS program in Williamsport, PA. This in-person, full-time role focuses on one-on-one and group behavioral support under clinical supervision to help students build coping skills and achieve treatment goals.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of relevant experience; preferred are degrees in related

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with behavioral health needs.
• Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Education, Counseling, or related field.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and behavioral interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavioral support services to children and adolescents in school settings.
• Implement individualized treatment and behavior support plans.
• Assist students with emotional regulation, coping skills, and social skill development.
• Utilize positive behavioral interventions and reinforcement strategies.
• Support students in maintaining appropriate classroom behavior and engagement.
• Collaborate with teachers, school personnel, clinicians, and families.
• Monitor and document client progress toward treatment goals.
• Complete required documentation, session notes, and reports in a timely manner.
• Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training opportunities.
• Maintain professional boundaries and uphold confidentiality standards.
