Job summary

Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers (DTAC) is seeking compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians to support children and adolescents within our IBHS School-Based Program in Bloomsburg, PA.

You will provide one-on-one and group behavioral support under clinical supervision, helping students develop coping skills, improve self-regulation, and achieve individualized treatment goals in educational settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two years of experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with behavioral health needs.
• Preferred degrees in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Education, Counseling, or a related field.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and behavioral interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavioral support services to children and adolescents in school settings
• Implement individualized treatment and behavior support plans
• Assist students with emotional regulation, coping skills, and social skill development
• Utilize positive behavioral interventions and reinforcement strategies
• Collaborate with teachers, school personnel, clinicians, and families
• Monitor and document client progress toward treatment goals
• Complete required documentation, session notes, and reports in a timely manner
• Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training opportunities
• Maintain professional boundaries and uphold confidentiality standards

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Education, Counseling, or a related field
