Job summary

MAS Community Health is seeking a Part-Time Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) to support children aged 1–21 in Berwick, Maine. The role involves providing supervision and therapeutic support in the client’s home and local community, with duties including transporting clients in your own vehicle and implementing treatment plans created by families and the case management team.

Must be prepared for afternoons/evenings/weekends, hold a high school diploma, and maintain a clean driving record and

Qualifications

• Active BHP Certification is not required.
• 1 year of experience working with children is a plus (education, childcare, babysitting/nannying).
• Interest in a career in early childhood education, social work, or psychology.
• Flexibility to work some afternoons, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Clean driving record and background check.
• Ability to provide active motor vehicle insurance & registration.
• Ability to provide high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Providing individualized support within the clients' personal home and surrounding community.
• Safely transporting the client within your own personal, reliable vehicle.
• Following the client’s treatment plan outlined and created by the client’s family and the case management team.
• Basic understanding of smartphone applications, access to email communication, and awareness around processing electronic documents such as daily session notes. Training is available.

Job Overview:
We’re looking for certified Behavioral Health Professionals in or near Berwick, Maine.

As a BHP, you will provide care to clients between the ages of 1-21. Specifically, provide supervision and therapeutic support to children struggling with severe and persistent behavioral challenges. Support will be in the client’s home or surrounding community.

• An active BHP Certification is not required! Our team ensures you have all the tools to become an excellent BHP.
