Job summary

TrueCare in Vista, CA is seeking a Behavioral Health Associate to support underserved communities in school settings. You will work in schools, facilitate small groups, and provide individual check-ins with students and families.

The role requires a master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology or a PhD/PsyD; active pre-licensure registrations; school experience; proficiency with EHRs and MS Office; and valid CA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active BBS ACSW/AMFT or APCC pre-licensed, or post-doctoral psychologist license.
• Experience with middle school students and group facilitation.
• Experience in a school setting is highly desired.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Work in schools, facilitate small groups, and conduct individual check-ins.
• Perform parent assessments and help detect at-risk patients.
• Assess clinical status to determine appropriate level of care and treatment plan.
