Point Quest, Inc. is hiring Substitute Behavioral Aides for school-based roles in Los Angeles, offering $18.50–$22.00 per hour and a schedule aligned with school hours (roughly 6.5 hours per day).

The role involves one-on-one instructional support, implementing IEPs and BIPs, and applying ABA methods under supervision. A DOJ/FBI Live Scan background check and TB clearance are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Ability to implement IEPs and BIPs in school settings.
• Experience supporting students with behavioral, social, or emotional needs.
• Strong communication and reliability; DOJ/FBI Live Scan background check and TB clearance per state.

Responsibilities

• Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Provide one-on-one instructional support tailored to each student's needs.
• Apply Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methods to support targeted behavior goals.
• Respond to crisis situations using Pro‑ACT or CPI intervention techniques.
• Monitor and supervise students during class, breaks, meals, and transportation.
• Record daily data on student behavior, skill progression, and learning objectives.
• Communicate with teachers and supervisors about student progress and concerns.
