Job summary

Unlimited Instruction, LLC is seeking a Special Education Behavior Assistant to support students in the Hampton, VA area. You will help create inclusive learning environments and reinforce IEP goals under supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/associate degree preferred or HS diploma with Parapro score 464
• Ability to pass CORI/SORI checks and fingerprints
• Aptitude for working with children and students
• Knowledge of child growth and development and learning strategies

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the integration of students requiring unique supports to increase independence.
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and administrators on instruction planning and implementation.
• Adapt instructional and assessment materials to meet IEP goals and student needs.
• Monitor student progress using prescribed data collection systems.
• Provide behavior support, de-escalation, and safety procedures.
• Assist with coverage for staff and participate in in-service training and meetings.
