Job summary

Gloucester County Special Services School District at Bankbridge Regional School is seeking a Behavior Technician to support students with behavioral needs. The position is full-time for 10 months with work hours from 7:40 AM to 2:40 PM, reporting to the Building Administrator.

Qualified candidates must hold RBT certification, meet NCLB Title I paraprofessional requirements, and provide necessary background checks and paperwork.

Qualifications

• RBT certification required.
• Experience with children with behavioral needs and/or developmental disabilities.
• Meets NCLB requirements for Title I paraprofessionals, if applicable.
• Criminal history background, proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status, physical examination and other paperwork.
• Alternatives to the above qualifications may be considered by the Board.
• Strong communication, reliability and professionalism.
• Ability to follow direction, support crisis procedures and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Full-time, 10-month position.
• Reports to Building Administrator.
• Hours: 7:40 AM - 2:40 PM.
