Job summary

The Board of Education of the Special Services School District of the County of Gloucester is seeking a Full-time paraprofessional for Bankbridge Regional School. The position supports students with behavioral needs and requires an RBT certification.

You'll report to the Building Administrator, work 7:40 AM to 2:40 PM, and participate in a 10-month school year with benefits including single medical/dental coverage. The salary guide is 31,500–33,500 USD annually.

Qualifications

• RBT certification required.
• Experience with children with behavioral needs or developmental disabilities.
• Meets NCLB requirements for Title 1 paraprofessionals, if applicable.
• Background check, proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status, physical examination, and other required paperwork.
• Strong communication, reliability, and professionalism.
• Ability to follow directions, support crisis procedures, and maintain confidentiality.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Experience working with children/students with behavioral needs and/or developmental disabilities
• Meets the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) requirements for Title 1 paraprofessionals, if applicable
• Required criminal history background, proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status, physical examination and other required paperwork
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
• Strong communication, reliability, and professionalism
• Ability to follow direction, support crisis procedures, and maintain confidentiality
