Anchorage School District is seeking a full-time Behavior Technician to assist in implementing behavioral interventions for students requiring intensive support. The role reports to the director of Intensive Behavior Supports or a building administrator and participates in a team that includes BCBA and school staff.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, two years of relevant experience, and an RBT certification.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of experience with students with developmental disabilities or intensive behavioral needs.
• RBT certification required.
• Complete NCI Verbal Intervention training within 30 days of hire.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Current Alaska driver’s license required.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with BCBA and school teams to implement behavioral supports.
• Provide onsite instruction, modeling, and coaching to staff working with students needing intensive behavioral support.
• Model and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) with teachers and staff.
• Collect data for FBAs and monitor progress of BIPs.
• Develop procedural integrity checklists for BIP implementation.
