Job summary

Community Autism Services is seeking a School-Based Behavior Technician to support students in educational settings by implementing ABA strategies under BCBA supervision. You will collaborate with teachers, support staff, and clinical supervisors to promote skill development and meaningful participation in the school day.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 50lbs.
• Reliable transportation to assigned school sites.
• Valid driver's license and dependable attendance.
• No prior ABA experience required; we train you.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group behavioral support to students.
• Implement behavior intervention strategies and treatment plans.
• Support skill development related to communication, behavior, and learning readiness.
• Collect accurate behavioural data and session documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and clinical supervisors.
• Support students during transitions, routines, and challenging moments.
• Maintain professionalism within school environments.
