Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Behavior Technician at our Greensburg, PA program to work one-on-one with autistic and emotionally supported students in a trauma-informed school environment.

You will implement IEPs and PBSPs, assist with daily living activities, and collaborate with a dedicated team to support student development while upholding Merakey's mission and values. This role involves regular weekday hours and a supportive work culture.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• 6 months of experience with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Experience working with children with autism preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow each child's IEP and PBSP to help achieve academic and behavioral goals.
• Accompany and assist clients/students with activities of daily living.
• Implement and follow through with client/student behavior plans and reinforcement systems.
• Provide behavioral interventions and, if needed, physical interventions as trained.
• Uphold Merakey's mission and core values.
• Other duties as assigned.
