Merakey is seeking a Behavior Technician in Scranton, PA to work one-on-one with students in a school setting. You will follow IEP/PBSP to help students reach academic and behavioral goals while supporting daily living tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of experience with developmental disabilities.
• 6 months experience with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with students in a school setting to support behavioral goals.
• Follow IEP and PBSP to help academic and behavioral progress.
• Assist with activities of daily living and grooming as needed.
• Implement behavior plans and reinforcement strategies for each student.
• Contribute to trauma-informed, supportive learning environment.
