Job summary

The school serves students in middle and high school facing behavioral health challenges within a supportive educational setting. Responsibilities include behavior management, progress monitoring, and implementing disciplinary and behavioral plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Education, Criminal Justice or related Human Services field.
• Experience with Special Education is preferred.
• Prior experience with adolescents with behavioral health challenges in a school setting is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavior management support to staff and students individually or in groups.
• Monitor student behavioral achievement through observation and quantitative methods.
• Manage student behavior through level systems, SMART program and school-wide discipline plans.
• Monitor and address goals in behavior improvement or Positive Behavior Support Plans.
• Complete tasks related to school environment, behavioral interventions and operations.
