Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks full-time Behavior Intervention Specialists for the 2025-2026 school year. On-site roles across 3–4 school sites, with a training week starting August 25, 2026 and daily hours roughly 8:30 am–4:10 pm, ending June 10, 2027.

Qualified BCBA or Tier 3/4 SPED license holders are invited; RBTs do not qualify. Travel among sites is required, and compensation ranges from $18.00 to $28.00 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Experience consulting with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of functional behavior assessments and interventions.
  • Ability to train staff on behavioral supports and protocols.
  • Willingness to travel among 3–4 school sites.

Responsibilities

  • Consult, design, and implement positive behavior supports.
  • Collaborate with BIS professionals, SPED admins, and teams.
  • Conduct assessments and use data to guide programming.
  • Assist with IEP development and compliance.
  • Support safe, positive learning environments.
  • May use restrictive procedures for safety and de-escalation.
  • Provide comprehensive training on interventions to staff.

Job description

Exciting opportunities are available for full-time Behavior Intervention Specialists for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. These onsite contract roles focus on supporting students and staff across 3-4 school sites within a well-regarded district. Start your journey with a training week beginning August 25, 2026; workdays typically run from 8:30 am to 4:10 pm, wrapping up on June 10, 2027.

Ideal candidates will have expertise in implementing positive behavior interventions and are passionate about contributing to a positive, inclusive academic environment. Both Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Special Education Teachers with valid Tier 3 or 4 licenses are welcome to apply. Please note, Registered Behavior Technicians do not qualify for these positions.

Key Qualifications:
  • Licensed as a BCBA, or as a Special Education Teacher (Tier 3 or 4 license required).
  • Experience consulting and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong grasp of functional behavior assessments and effective intervention strategies.
  • Ability to train staff on behavioral supports and protocols.
  • Flexibility to travel between 3-4 assigned school sites.
  • Calm, adaptable, and efficient in crisis situations.
Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and utilize data to drive decisions around student programming.

  • May use restrictive procedures as needed for safety and de-escalation.
  • Provide comprehensive training on behavioral interventions to school staff.

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.00 to $28.00.
