Job summary

Vaughn Next Century Learning Center is seeking a full-time Behavior Intervention Assistant to deliver behavior management support, de-escalation, and crisis intervention within a K-12 setting. You will collect data, monitor progress, and work with teachers to implement intervention plans.

The role requires relevant paraprofessional experience, a high school diploma or higher, and a willingness to participate in ongoing trainings.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma.
• Associate degree or higher or 48 college units required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as paraprofessional or behavior intervention.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavior management intervention services.
• Prevent and de-escalate disruptive behaviors.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies.
• Assist in collecting and recording behavioral data.
• Report progress and coordinate with behavior team.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow school procedures.
