Job summary

KIPP Massachusetts is seeking a dynamic, committed, and flexible school-based behavior analyst to provide behavioral analysis and intervention support for students in grades K-8 at KIPP Academy Boston and KIPP Academy Lynn. The role collaborates with school mental health practitioners, student support teams, and teachers to implement tiered behavior support and BIPs.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, be a BCBA, and bring 2–3 years of experience working

Qualifications

  • Master Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis required.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification required.
  • 2-3 years experience with children and families using behavior analytic methods.
  • Ability to conduct functional analysis (FBA) and develop BIPs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration with students, staff, and families.

Responsibilities

  • Behavior assessment and intervention.
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA).
  • Conduct preference assessments.
  • Discuss results of the FBA and the proposed BIP with staff.
  • Use FBA results to create function-based BIPs.
  • Select data collection tools to measure target behaviors.
  • Monitor data to assess procedure effectiveness daily.
  • Provide staff training on behavior management techniques.
  • Collaborate with CST and special education teams.
  • Meet with campus-based teams to discuss concerns and solutions.
