Job summary

Community Autism Services (CAS) is seeking a School-Based BCBA to lead behavioral programming, support IEP teams, and collaborate with school staff to promote meaningful, sustainable student outcomes.

You will design and oversee BIPs, guide educators in implementing plans, and participate in ongoing professional development. This role blends collaboration with autonomy, offering balance and growth within educational settings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in ABA, psychology, special education, or related field.
• Current BCBA certification in good standing.
• Minimum of 2+ years of ABA experience in school-based/educational settings.
• Experience conducting FBAs, writing BIPs, and supervising clinical staff.
• Strong collaboration and communication with school personnel and families.
• Commitment to ethical, compassionate, student-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs and develop BIPs.
• Use assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, SSIS) to identify strengths and needs.
• Collect, analyze, and apply data to guide decisions and monitor progress.
• Ensure fidelity through data review and program adjustments.
• Coach and model evidence-based strategies for teachers and staff.
• Provide supervision to ABA Instructors, RBTs, and Behavior Technicians in schools.
• Collaborate with IEP teams, admin, and families for generalization and success.
• Deliver professional development sessions and trainings.
• Maintain timely documentation aligned with standards.
• Implement proactive behavior support and crisis prevention.

Education

Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
