Job summary

Weymouth Public Schools is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide clinical leadership in our Special Education Department (Student Services). The role focuses on trauma-sensitive, relationship-based supports and proactive intervention development across therapeutic learning environments.

The BCBA will design FBAs, BIPs, and PBIS plans, supervise direct service providers, and collaborate with school teams to improve student outcomes in 11 buildings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
• Massachusetts licensure/certification appropriate for school-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs and behavioral observations to identify patterns and needs.
• Develop and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) grounded in relationship-based approaches.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement behavioral interventions.
• Provide consultation and coaching on evidence-based behavioral practices.
• Support student self-regulation, coping, and social-emotional skills.
• Collect and analyze behavioral data to evaluate intervention effectiveness.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to behavioral goals and accommodations.
