Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a School-Based Behavior Analyst to lead functional behavior assessments and develop ABA-based interventions for students with challenging behaviors in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Responsibilities include designing BIPs, collecting data, collaborating with educators and families, and participating in IEP/manifestation meetings while ensuring compliance with IDEA and FERPA. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in behavior analysis, psychology, special education, or related field.
• BCBA certification or PA licensure required or eligible.
• Experience conducting functional behavior assessments (FBA) and developing behavior intervention plans (BIP).
• Experience with autism or developmental disabilities in school settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify functions of challenging behaviors.
• Design individualized behavior intervention plans tailored to student needs.
• Use evidence-based ABA strategies and monitor progress with data.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, administrators, and parents to implement plans.
• Train and support school personnel on ABA principles and behavior management.
• Participate in IEP, Manifestation and other school meetings.
• Follow IDEA and FERPA requirements and maintain compliance.
• Travel between school buildings and across the Greater Philadelphia area.
