Qualifications

• Valid Kansas Behavior Analysts Licenses (LBA) required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Special Education, or related field required.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations guiding behavior therapy practices.
• Ability to interpret evaluation data and write comprehensive reports.
• Excellent oral and written communication with families and students.
• Documentation in accordance with professional standards and guidelines.
• High level of professionalism and decorum; highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Health and inoculation certificate on file after offer.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with students in Pre-K through 9th grade.
• Attend IEP and General Education Intervention meetings as needed.
• Assist in developing instructional materials supporting social, behavioral, and communication goals.
• Apply Applied Behavior Analysis to support student progress.
• Ensure behavioral strategies are implemented consistently across settings.
• Collaborate with staff and leadership; communicate regularly.
• Develop data-taking mechanisms and reporting strategies.
• Record behavioral, social, and academic data for IEP goals.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and communicate with the team.
• Present student data during staffing and IEP meetings.
• Ensure timely completion of required paperwork; ensure safety at all times.
• Maintain strong home-school communication.
