Job summary

Rivermont Schools in Virginia is seeking a BCBA to design, implement, and oversee evidence-based behavioral programs for students with challenges. You will collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to promote positive behavior, skill development, and meaningful progress.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, supervise clinicians, and ensure fidelity across programs while integrating strategies within educational and therapeutic settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human services, education, psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
• BCBA certification or Virginia Board of Medicine licensure eligibility.
• Supervisory experience in school or community-based settings serving individuals with disabilities.
• Expertise in ABA and Verbal Behavior (VB) practices.
• Valid Virginia driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans.
• Provide clinical supervision, staff training, and ongoing performance feedback to ensure program fidelity and quality.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate behavioral strategies within educational and therapeutic settings.
• Monitor data and outcomes to guide program adjustments and ensure progress toward student goals.
• Deliver direct services and crisis support as needed, maintaining compliance with all clinical and documentation standards.

What You'll Need
