Job summary

NCIA's Youth in Transition School in Maryland seeks a licensed BCBA to lead behavior support within a collaborative special education team.

You will conduct FBAs and develop BIPs, participate in IEP meetings, coach staff on positive behavior supports, analyze data, and monitor fidelity to improve student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current BCBA certification in good standing.
• Master’s degree in ABA, Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
• Two years of school-based or special education experience preferred.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and consultation skills.
• Knowledge of IEP processes and related regulations.
• Ability to work independently within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs and develop BIPs.
• Collaborate with educators, school leadership, related service providers, and staff.
• Participate in IEP meetings and data reviews.
• Analyze behavioral data and adjust interventions using evidence-based practices.
• Provide staff coaching on positive behavior supports and de-escalation.
• Monitor implementation fidelity and student progress.
• Ensure compliance with IDEA and state regulations.
