Job summary

Hillsborough County Public Schools in Wimauma, FL seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to provide districtwide consultation and direct support in behavior management. You will lead functional assessments, plan development, and monitoring, while coaching staff and supervising RBTs, BCaBAs, and BCBA candidates.

The role requires strong analytic and communication skills, and collaboration with administrators, teachers, and families to implement Positive Behavior Supports across schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
• Three years of increasingly responsible experience in applied behavior analysis or BCaBA with HCPS internship.
• BCBA/BCBA-D or BCaBA completion with BCBA certification within 12 months of hire.
• Strong analytic, communication, and supervisory skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide districtwide ABA consultation and direct support to schools and students.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans.
• Coaching, in-service training, and site-based consultation with staff and families.
• Supervise RBTs, BCaBA, and BCBA candidates; collect and monitor data.
• Collaborate with district leaders to align services with district priorities.
