Job summary

Rivermont Schools is seeking a BCBA to design, implement, and oversee evidence-based behavioral programs for students with emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. You will work with teachers, families, and staff to promote positive behavior, skill development, and meaningful progress for every learner.

The role emphasizes supervision, collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, data-driven adjustments, and adherence to clinical standards in educational/therapeutic settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human services, education, psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification or licensure eligibility as a Behavior Analyst by the Virginia Board of Medicine
• Supervisory experience in a school or community-based setting serving individuals with disabilities.
• Expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behavior (VB) practices.
• Valid Virginia driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans.
• Provide clinical supervision, staff training, and ongoing performance feedback to ensure program fidelity and quality.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate behavioral strategies within educational and therapeutic settings.
• Monitor data and outcomes to guide program adjustments and ensure progress toward student goals.
• Deliver direct services and crisis support as needed, maintaining compliance with all clinical and documentation standards.
