Job summary

Woburn Public Schools is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a long-term substitute role from early September 2026 through November 25, 2026. The position offers daily rates of $125 for the first 20 days, then $346.55 (Bachelor's) or $372.42 (Master's) per day, with placement based on education and experience.

The BCBA will develop BIPs, provide staff training, and collaborate with district staff to support students’ learning.

Qualifications

• Certification as BCBA is mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Consult with team on behavior plans, curriculum mods, accommodations, social skills, and provide staff with resources and modelling.
• Oversee ABA paraprofessionals and IEP implementation; attend IEP meetings as needed.
• Assist in development and supervision of behavior plans and assess progress and fidelity.
• Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) to develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
• Communicate BIPs to staff; provide professional development and monitor fidelity.
• Coordinate home-school communications and provide home assessments or services on request.
• Support transitions from Early Intervention and to school programs.
