The Town of North Attleborough is seeking a full-time Independent Contract – Student Service (BCBA) to work with school-aged students (PK-12+) with diverse disabilities. The role involves writing Functional Behavior Assessments and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Education, Psychology, or Applied Behavior Analysis, and a BCBA endorsement. Start date is in April 2026 with an estimated end date in June 2026, offering compensation of $125 per day.

Position Overview

Independent Contract – Student Service (BCBA), full‑time under 90 days, start April 2026, estimated end June 2026.

Responsibilities

• Write Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavioral Evaluations.
• Develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans.
• Work with school‑aged students (PK‑12+) with a wide range of disabilities.
• Apply knowledge of developmental norms, DESE Curriculum Guidelines, and evidence‑based interventions.
• Collect and analyze data to inform student progress.
• Provide regular reports to stakeholders, including writing and implementing IEP goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with educators and service providers to promote positive student outcomes.
• Communicate effectively in both written and oral formats.

Qualifications

• Current BCBA endorsement.
• Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, or Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Experience in school or educational settings.
• Experience writing Functional Behavior Assessments, Behavioral Evaluations, and Behavior Intervention Plans.
• Familiarity with working with students PK‑12+ with diverse disabilities and developmental norms.
• Knowledge of DESE Curriculum Guidelines and data‑collection/analysis practices.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Trained or willing to be trained in Safety Care.
