Job summary

The Malden Public Schools (MPS) is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support Linden STEAM Academy in Malden, Massachusetts. The BCBA will consult on autism programs, develop ABA/TEACCH resources, and guide staff through evidence-based interventions.

The role includes supervising BCBA candidates and Registered Behavior Technicians, traveling between sites for direct treatment and collaboration with families, and aligning services with district expectations.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Advanced degree in special education or related field.
• Minimum of three years teaching experience preferred.
• Experience providing training to staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative BCBA services for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Develop materials and provide resources for and provide professional learning to administrators, educators, para-educators and parents/guardians in ABA/TEACCH and related methodologies.
• Plan and oversee the development and implementation of classroom and individual programs using ABA and TEACCH.
• Provide functional behavioral assessments and collect data for reports.
• Create and assist with behavior plans and ABA programs for students with autism and other disabilities.
• Supervise BCBA candidates and Registered Behavior Technicians within the district.
• Travel between sites to provide direct treatment, consultation, and collaboration.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
