Job summary

ABRITE is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support students in Santa Cruz County using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The role emphasizes implementing BIPs, data collection, and collaboration with teachers and supervisors in a school setting.

Ideal candidates are energetic, patient, and reliable, with a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to work 18+ years old. Spanish-speaking is a plus. A full-time position with paid training and ongoing mentorship is available.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children and interest in ABA.

• Must be 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to support student success.
• Work directly with students using ABA techniques to reduce challenging behaviors and increase skill acquisition.
• Collect and track behavioral data to measure progress and inform interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support classroom behavior management.
• Partner with supervisors and BCBAs to ensure effective service delivery.
• Communicate student progress, challenges, and updates clearly and consistently.
• Support a positive, team-oriented environment within school settings.
