Job summary

ABRITE is hiring Behavior Interventionists to support students aged 5–18 in Santa Cruz County schools. Training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is provided to help increase skill acquisition and reduce interfering behaviors.

The role requires availability 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., 2–5 days per week, with driving as a key requirement. Competitive pay, paid training, and full-time opportunities with benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 pounds.
• Driving is a key requirement; valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support students by implementing outlined behavior intervention plans and reinforcement systems.
• Assist in promoting student participation in academic instruction.
• Address less severe behaviors such as tantrumming and noncompliance.
• Work in school classrooms, often alongside general education students.
