Job summary

Citizens of the World Los Angeles is seeking a part-time Behavioral Intervention Implementation Associate (BII) to support students with disabilities in an inclusive classroom. You will deliver individualized ABA-based interventions and assist with prescribed learning activities under supervision, while coordinating with teachers, specialists, and families.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or completion of two years of college coursework (minimum 48 semester units).
• One year experience or volunteer experience working with students with disabilities, including autism.
• ABA training or experience with behavior intervention techniques is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support instruction for individual students or small groups with special needs.
• Assist students in prescribed learning activities and monitor behavior.
• Deliver one-on-one ABA-based interventions as outlined in student plans.
• Implement therapy plans developed by Behavior Intervention and Education Specialists.
• Observe, record, and report behavioral data according to procedures.
• Provide adaptive support with eating and toileting as needed.
• Assist teachers during the school day with instruction, supervision, and safety.
