Mansfield City School District is seeking an Audio/Visual Director as a supplemental, 4% position for the 2026-2027 school year. The role supports high school events with AV equipment and technical assistance during normal school hours, plus potential evening and weekend duties for activities and ceremonies.
The director will operate sound, lighting, projection, video, and livestream systems; supervise student crews; coordinate event schedules; and maintain equipment safety and inventory.
The Audio/Visual director position provides audio-visual equipment and technical support for the high school building during normal school hours. This includes equipment/technical support either in a classroom or in common areas for events to benefit students and/or staff. All services rendered in this or an expanded capacity beyond those parameters are provided on a volunteer basis. It appears that the Audio/visual position is being combined with multiple other positions. While the audio/visual director does include providing support for any events in the gym, again, it's only within the normal school day.
