Job summary

Baltimore City Public Schools is seeking a qualified Audiologist to deliver comprehensive services in assigned schools. You will assess, design, and deploy educationally relevant programs for students with hearing needs.

The role requires collaboration with teachers, parents, and IEP teams to implement individualized goals and ensure coverage for screenings and interventions across the district.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Audiology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current license in Audiology or eligibility for licensure (CCC from ASHA) is required.
• Strong knowledge of child development and therapeutic interventions for hearing impairments.

Responsibilities

• Provide audiological services for assigned schools and students.
• Administer, score, interpret, and report audiological and central auditory processing assessments.
• Conduct school-based screenings and collaborate with IEP teams.
• Plan and implement evidence-based school-based interventions and therapies.
• Prepare written recommendations and Medicaid reimbursement documentation.
