Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an Athletic Trainer to evaluate and treat student athletes in field and clinical settings. Under the Lead Athletic Trainer, you will develop plans of care and ensure adherence to physician guidelines, state and national standards, and departmental policies.

You will collaborate with physicians, families, and school staff to optimize return-to-play and maintain documentation in the EMR system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training required or equivalent experience.
• NATA BOC certification preferred.
• BLS, CPR/First Aid certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive athletic care and treatment in collaboration with a physician.
• Develop and update care plans for student athletes.
• Coordinate with physicians and care providers for outcome-aligned care.
• Maintain records of student interactions in EMR and supervise training staff.
