Job summary

The Orthopedic Hospital is seeking an Athletic Trainer to deliver comprehensive training services across multiple sports. You will focus on injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation, coordinating with team physicians and coaches to optimize health and performance.

You will also lead community outreach and education on sports medicine, maintain detailed medical records, and stay current with evidence-based practices to ensure quality care and safe return-to-play decisions.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of athletic training experience.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and injury prevention strategies.
• Proficiency in evaluating athletic injuries and developing treatment and rehabilitation plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with athletes, coaches, healthcare professionals, and parents.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make critical decisions under pressure.
• Skilled in maintaining detailed and accurate medical records.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices in athletic training and sports medicine.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates pre-season physical examinations with physicians and safety standards.
• Develops individualized and team-based conditioning programs to prevent injuries and improve performance.
• Provides on-site evaluation and first aid during athletic events and practices.
• Applies protective devices and facilitates referrals for advanced care.
• Collaborates with coaches and healthcare professionals to design rehab plans and safe return-to-play.
• Educates coaches, athletes, and parents on injury prevention and management.
• Maintains accurate athlete records and documentation for compliance.
• Promotes Sports Medicine services to the community through outreach programs.
